3D Printing in the Reproduction of Marine Lives: Preserved Marine Biodiversity and Aboriginal Heritage
The project will inspire and teach citizen scientists ( especially students) to understand and preserve marine biodiversity and natural heritage, through sophisticated 3D printing solution and digital data collection. we will collaborate with school, university, city council and aboriginal community, to reproduce an iconic statue of humpback whales, which located in Yalingbila Bibula ( whale on the hill), North Stradbroke island, Redland bay, where is one of best place to see the whale, during the project, we will motivate school students and residents understand the heritage in marine and aboriginal Quandamooka culture, via different workshops of 3D printing and related STEM activities.
